Rental Terms & Conditions

The rates quoted are in Omani Rials
The rates are inclusive of 200 Kms free per day
The rates include Maintenance & Repairs
The rental charge is for a minimum of one day (24 hours)
Any additional hours will be charged at one fourth of the daily rental charge per hour
Free Airport delivery and pick-up
The rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Fuel

Fuel is not included in the rates.
All vehicles must be filled up with Super grade Petrol.
Vehicles are delivered with full tank of fuel and shall be returned with full tank of fuel.
We will charge the renter a service charge of RO 1/- for any vehicle returned without full tank of fuel, in addition to the fuel charge @150 Baiza per liter

Additional Driver

Additional driver surcharge is RO 2/- per day and RO 10/- per week

ROP FINES

The Renter must pay all the police fines including parking and speeding fines during the currency of the rental. Such fines will be charged to the client's credit card or driving license.

Age

The minimum age of the driver must be 22 years. The driver must have held a full license for a minimum of one year.

Insurance

Insurance excess RO 250/-
All vehicles are comprehensively insured and subject to the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
Any accident while on road or parked or when stuck up in a Wadi, has to be reported to the nearest ROP station immediately and a police accident report should be obtained. The rental charges shall continue till the submission of the same.

Insurance does not cover the damage or loss of the following:
a) Damage to Windscreens
b) Damage to or loss of Antenna, Wing Mirror
c) Damage to Clutch, Tyres and Rims
d) Damage to Roof of vehicle
e) Damage to Under Carriage of vehicle the customer is liable to pay the actual costs of the above damages.

Theft protection would limit the customer’s liability to RO 250/- on all vehicles subject to the submission of police report.
Accident damages caused through Wadi crossing while the Wadi is flowing is not covered under insurance policy. Fully repairs and related expenses will be the responsibility of the renter
Damages or accidents caused by the Renter who drives a vehicle while not in a fit condition to drive (as per the rules of the Royal Oman Police) will have to be paid by the Renter.

UAE Insurance:

Vehicles are not allowed to be driven outside the Sultanate of Oman.
Any vehicle driven outside the Sultanate is not covered by any of the insurance policies.
Special arrangement can be made for vehicle to be taken to UAE.


General:

All vehicles are of latest model and maintained in excellent condition.
All vehicles are equipped with seat belts, A/C, radio, CD player or cassette player.
Special corporate rates are negotiable.
Excellent rate for short and long term lease.
Special packages to explore Oman.

Off-Road Driving:

Under any circumstances, saloon cars should not be taken off the black - top roads. Damages occurring from such NOT recommended driving would have to be paid by the Renter. Only 4WD vehicles may be driven on rough roads, only on existing paths. During such off-road driving in 4WD vehicles, the 4WD maybe engaged to avoid damage to tyres
